This day offers me 1,440 minutes
to grow, to love, to hope, to make a difference in a world longing for kindness.

Have you ever ended your day wondering, “What did I do?” That happens to me more than I care to admit. I wander aimlessly through the day keeping busy but never focusing on any one thing.

Even on those days, I make an effort to do one act of kindness for those I love or a stranger in the store or a neighbor walking in the park. Then, even the most rudderless day takes on purpose and intention, and I make a difference.

You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late.
—Ralph Waldo Emerson

My thanks to Linda G Hill for the inspiration.  a pier out into the blue ocean with a bright blue sky and a few white clouds to highlight what's in a day

And always—

Be kind. Be brave. Be you.
