Who wouldn’t love a red geranium?

Geraniums have always made me smile. But red ones, they stand out in the crowd. Nestled in the dark green leaves, brilliant red petals shout, “Take a look.” Every spring I look forward to new blossoms gracing my days.

I tend to agree with John Beverly Nichols in Merry Hall. How could you not love a geranium?

“Long experience has taught me that people who do not like geraniums have something morally unsound about them. Sooner or later you will find them out; you will discover that they drink, or steal books, or speak sharply to cats. Never trust a man or a woman who is not passionately devoted to geraniums.”
